What Rovaniemi's Paid Attractions Actually Cost
Published 2026/27 ticket prices for SantaPark, Snowman World, Arktikum and Ranua Wildlife Park, how far each is from Rovaniemi, and which are worth the money.

Santa Claus Village is free, as Visit Rovaniemi and the village information service both state. Almost everything people then add to a Rovaniemi trip is not, and the prices are published but scattered across four different operators' websites. Here they are in one table, with the distances, because two of these are not in Rovaniemi at all.
What do they cost?
SantaPark from €42 adult and €37 child, Snowman World €35 flat, Arktikum €22 adult and €10 child, and Ranua Wildlife Park €24.50 adult and €20 child online. Those are the published 2026/27 figures.

Read the last two rows against the first four. The single most famous thing in Rovaniemi costs nothing, and every paid attraction here is an addition to that rather than a substitute for it.
Which are actually worth it?
Arktikum is the one adults consistently underrate, and Ranua is the one people underestimate the travel time for. Snowman World and SantaPark are children's products and price accordingly.

The Ranua row is the one to plan around. Eighty kilometres each way in winter conditions turns a wildlife park into a full-day commitment, which is fine if you plan it as one and painful if you assumed it was a morning.
The seasonal trap
Snowman World runs 6 December to 17 March and SantaPark 31 October to 23 January. Neither is open across the whole winter, and SantaPark closes in late January while the snow is still deepening.
That January closure catches people who assume "winter attraction" means "open all winter". A February or March trip to Rovaniemi, which is otherwise excellent value with the deepest snow of the year, has SantaPark shut. Snowman World is the one that runs into mid-March.

Arktikum is the cheapest paid option on that list and the one adults get most from, which is not the order most itineraries put them in.
How this compares with the activities
A family of four doing SantaPark and Snowman World spends more than they would on one guided husky safari each. That is not an argument against them, but it is worth seeing the numbers side by side.
Guided activities in the Rovaniemi area run roughly €89 to €125 per person for a husky safari and €89 to €99 for an aurora tour. Two paid attractions for a family of four lands in similar territory, and the attractions are indoor-and-adjacent to the village rather than out in the landscape.

The one-line version
Santa Claus Village and meeting Santa are free. SantaPark, Snowman World, Arktikum and Ranua are not, they range from €20 to €42 a head, and two of them shut before the snowiest part of the season.
Check the dates before the prices. A closed attraction is a worse surprise than an expensive one, and both SantaPark and Snowman World have firm season ends that do not line up with the winter you are picturing.
